The challenge
Symbiosei builds IoT solutions for agriculture and smart homes. Thousands of sensors generate continuous data that must be stored efficiently, queried in real time and shown to customers in an application that also lets them control their systems remotely.
What we built
We designed the time-series storage architecture on InfluxDB and Amazon Timestream, optimised for high-volume readings and fast retrieval. We developed the REST APIs in Node.js and TypeScript that power real-time analytics, and a React web application where users visualise their data and manage their agricultural and home systems. We worked with management to align the technical roadmap with business goals.
Outcome
Cloud-hosted APIs with 99.95 % uptime, serving more than a thousand requests per second, and a platform in use across dozens of installations.
