About us

Art made of bits

ArtBits is a technology company in Barcelona. We do two things: we build and run our own products, and we develop software and integrate artificial intelligence for other companies. The two feed each other: what we learn maintaining GestiFactura or the envMatter sensor network is what we apply in client projects.

What we believe

AI is measured in production, not in demos. An impressive prototype that fails on real data is worth nothing. We design every project to survive its first Monday in production: dirty data, exceptions, users in a hurry.

Process first. Before automating, we understand how the work is done today, with the people who do it. Sometimes the answer is to fix the process, not to buy a tool. We will tell you.

No lock-in. The code and the data are yours. We document so any team can continue without us, and we build layers that let you switch model providers without rewriting anything.

Few things, done well. One plan, a closed scope, deliveries every two weeks. We would rather say no to a project we cannot do well.

Experience

Our team has built live-streaming platforms, CRMs and B2B portals, IoT systems with millions of readings, mobile health apps and invoicing software with legal requirements. We work with TypeScript and Node.js, PHP and Laravel, React, Vue and Angular, PostgreSQL and MySQL, AWS, Google Cloud and Cloudflare, and with the APIs of the main language-model providers.

Where we are

In the Sant Pere neighbourhood of Barcelona, five minutes from the Palau de la Música. We work in Spanish, English, Catalan and Russian, remotely or at your office.
