Approved Bono IA provider: why none exists today
As of 25 October 2026 there are no approved or accredited Bono IA providers: the bases are not published. What Plan IA360 says and what to check before you sign.

If you are looking for an approved or accredited Bono IA provider, the short answer is that there is none. As of 25 October 2026 the Spanish Government has not published the regulatory bases of the voucher. Without bases there are no provider requirements, no registry and no body that can accredit anyone. This article explains what Plan IA360 says about future providers. It also lists what you can check today about a company that offers you its services.
Why nobody can be approved yet
A public grant in Spain needs regulatory bases published in the Official State Gazette, the BOE. The bases set who can receive the grant, how much is paid and who can deliver the service. The call comes after that, with deadlines and forms.
The Bono IA is measure 11 of Plan IA360, presented on 21 September 2026. The plan document places the regulatory design and a controlled pilot in the first half of 2027. The general call is planned before the end of 2027. The guide of the Oficina Nacional de Emprendimiento of 20 October 2026 repeats it. The access conditions of the voucher “se concretarán con la publicación de las correspondientes bases reguladoras”. That is, they will be set when the bases are published.
We have searched the BOE and the portals of Red.es, Acelera pyme and the Ministry for Digital Transformation. There are no bases, no call and no provider adhesion notice for the Bono IA. A company that presents itself today as an approved Bono IA provider claims something no public body has granted.
What the plan says about future providers
The plan sets no provider requirements, but it describes the kind of service the voucher will pay for. It will fund services “provistos por empresas tecnológicas europeas”. That means European technology companies that use foundation models as an input. Those companies must add their own value through development, integration, sector knowledge, data processing or process redesign. The plan excludes “la mera suscripción a licencias”, the mere subscription to licences.
The same document anticipates how each project will run. There will be a prior maturity assessment, one concrete use case and a later measurement of the impact on productivity. The design of the voucher “incluiría” payments by milestones and conditions on AI training for the staff. The plan writes “incluiría”, in the conditional. The bases can change it.
With that description you can already filter proposals. If a company offers you only a licence for a well-known tool, it does not match the plan. If it proposes an assessment, one concrete process to change, a baseline measure and a delivery in phases, it matches. You can ask which part of the work is theirs and which part is a third party’s tool. The plan pays for own added value, not for resale.
Claims that contradict the facts
These claims already appear on sales pages and in emails. None of them holds as of today.
- “We are an approved, accredited or adhered Bono IA provider.” That status does not exist.
- “We reserve your voucher.” There are no vouchers to reserve, because there is no call.
- “We process your Bono IA application.” There is no application to process.
- “We have a limited quota of vouchers.” No public body has assigned quotas to private companies.
- “Sign now and we deduct the grant when it arrives.” A contract whose price depends on a grant with no bases, no amount and no date protects you from nothing.
The check is the same for the five: ask them to show you where the call is published. If the answer is a link to their own website or a press note, there is no call.
What about Kit Digital and Kit Consulting agents
Kit Digital and Kit Consulting have official provider registries, the Agentes Digitalizadores Adheridos and the Asesores Digitales Adheridos. Some companies present that status as an advantage for the Bono IA.
The Plan IA360 document does not mention Kit Digital, Kit Consulting or the figure of the digitalising agent. We checked this on the full text of the plan. They are different programmes, each with its own bases. Being adhered to one of them makes nobody a Bono IA provider. It does not exclude them either. When the requirements are published, those companies will be able to apply like the rest.
That experience does say something useful: the company has justified a public grant file and knows the paperwork. It is a fact to weigh, not an accreditation.
Where to check it when things change
When the Government publishes the bases, the text will appear in the BOE. If the bases create a registry or an adhesion procedure, the managing body will publish it on its electronic office. That is the place to check a company, not the company’s own website.
Until then, the question “are you an approved Bono IA provider?” has one honest answer: nobody is. We will update this article and set the review date when the bases are published.
How we help
ArtBits is not an approved Bono IA provider, because that status does not exist. We do the work the plan describes: an assessment, one use case, integration into your systems and delivery by milestones. If you want to know whether your project matches the voucher, ask us for a consultation by form or WhatsApp. What we know about the programme is on the Bono IA page.
